Buttons reused from the family button box create sentimental connections, stories and memories from previous worn family clothing. The reused buttons serve as a metaphor of life experiences and family connections from the clothes they once adorned.

A binary object, the buttons also symbolise family connections bound together; where all such related persons through birth or marriage are considered members of one family.
